Mid-Atlantic Burn Camp 30th Anniversary Weekend

Friday August 31 – Monday September 3, 2018 (Labor Day Weekend)

Mid-Atlantic Burn Camp is very excited to be celebrating 30 years! We are looking forward to seeing past and present campers, counselors, and supporters of MABC along with their families.

We want to spend time sharing Camp and the many things it has to offer with all of you. We want to reminisce and look toward the future. There will be lots of pictures and videos, please bring your old ones to share. If you bring your family you must supervise them yourself. Please join us in sharing friendship, stories/tales, pictures, songs and roasting marshmallows. Feel free to come for one day or spend the whole weekend with us.

LOCATION: Camp Horizons, 3586 Horizons Way, Harrisonburg, VA 22802

SCHEDULE:

Friday August 31, 2018
Registration 6-9PM; Dinner available at 6PM, Campfire hang

Saturday September 1, 2018
Registration 10AM – 6PM; Breakfast 8AM, Lunch 12PM

Available activities include: hiking, lake activities, swimming, arts and crafts, and cart ride. (Pre-registration/ may be required). River canoeing, caving, and horseback riding will be available for an additional fee on Saturday only.

Happy Hour (Adults Only) 5PM; Dinner 6PM; Talent Show/Skits 7:30PM; Campfire hang to follow

Sunday September 2, 2018
Registration 10AM – 4PM; Breakfast 9AM; Church Services 10:30 (at Camp Brethren Woods); Lunch 12:00 (at Camp Brethren Woods)

Available activities include: hiking, lake activities, swimming, arts and crafts, yoga, games. (Pre-registration may be required).

Dinner 6PM; Closing Campfire hang to follow

Monday September 3, 2018
Breakfast 8AM; ALL ATTENDEES MUST BE OFF CAMP PROPERTY BY 10AM.

PRICING: $15 per night for lodging for 1st person. (Non-refundable); Each additional person $5 per night. (Non-refundable)

Price includes a bunk to sleep in, all meals are included (provided by sponsors and MABC), activities and all attendees will receive a t-shirt. This event is rain or shine.

Additional cost required if you sign up for caving ($35/per person – must be in 4th grade or above) or Off – site river canoeing ($35/per person – must be in 5th grade or above) Minimum registration requirements must be met to schedule the offsite trips. Both trips are subject to cancellation due to weather. Should that happen your activity charge is refundable.
